    So uncharacteristic of Reynolds to actually say something positive about the Dodgers. What's happened to him?

    That said, 100 wins don't mean squat in the postseason when coupled with these numbers:

    LAD vs teams finishing the season at or <.500: 64-26
    LAD vs teams finishing the season >.500: 36-36

    I hope for short he goes by Rich or Rick, because Dick Bender is just wrong.

    I worked with a sports reporter back in the day named Dick Staines...good guy. Gave me two tickets to Yanks/ Dodgers WS. Dodgers went ape shit and Yeager, Cey and Baker all hit HRs. Great night.

    had a good dude that was a rep for a big manufacturer i bought from back in the day named Dick Johnson. former WW2 pilot and all around awesome guy w great stories. he liked me and we went to baseball games when i traveled w him. one was a night in Riverfront i'll never forget. place was so weird in person after all the big red machine days. people in that part of Ohio were slightly inbred and Dick and I used to laugh and laugh to tears.

    Had a student in Denver... first name Mike. OK. No worries. But mom & dad hyphenated his last name. She was Masters; dad was Bader.

    Yeah. Mike Masters-Bader. Those parents were assholes to do that to a kid.

    almost swallowed my tongue collecting a check from a Vietnamese gentleman w a last name of Lo. i'd always add the first name to the invoice when i wrote the ck #. his name was Wey and his middle name was Hung so Wey Hung Lo or Hung Wey Lo. all i know is snot was running out of my nose and i was blubbering something. i didn't want to insult him but it was too late and i just peeled off his copy and beat a hasty retreat.
