I like the predictions, but it’s funny that you think Hill will pitch 6 innings. It’s 4 innings or 10 innings. Nothing in between.
I think the accolades and expectancy for Hill to be anything than what he is showing is fanciful...and to think that Wood will be anything like last season's over achievement is just plain stupid. The real dude is out there now. The staff , top to bottom, was a potential disaster before the season even started, but our most consistent pitcher and stalwart continues to shoulder the lion's share of blame, although throwing fine ML games. Which simply magnifies the other gaping wound, perhaps more than the pitching, the weak and flaccid lineup. Fucking horrible, man. And for those who say it is early and the pitching is ahead of hitting at this time of year, how do you explain the Mets, and Astros and AZ, etc. ?? The excuse is applicable only for the Dodgers? No way this team should have stayed status quo...every team needs tweaking to help in the new run at it, especially when main pieces leave. And in spite of the much touted, elite NLW crowns winning team runs, we are still losers.
