    Idk, after the one remaining with the Angels, if we win 4 of the next 10, we'll be fortunate.
    Skeptical about what the standings will look like after the CO series.
    Team has a very different dynamic to it lately. Similar to some Dodger teams of the past.
    Need to get back to business right away. Leaving it on the starters for an extended period of time ensures a toasted staff at the end.

    kelly shit the bed but some of that it is on roberts
    put your guys in positions to succeed not fail
    two good outings in non consequential games did not warrant throwing him into the fire
    oc is also his hometown so even more added pressure
    now those two good outings mean squat and dudes confidence has to be at an all time low

    I get your point irish, but he was paid big bucks to come here and get thrown in the fire. Hell, he was lights out on the biggest stage of all last fall. I don't want to wait for him to slowly build confidence. It's time he earn that paycheck, otherwise this team has to assume he won't be able to in the playoffs and make other arrangements now.

    Irish has a good point about Roberts. Even though I agree this clown is no rookie, and they should be able to use him as needed, it is what it is with him. He has only had a modicum of success in low leverage situations, and last night wasn't one. I can't remember a worse individual.
    A historically terrible signing, a complete waste of time and money. He is unusable as a normal rp, and ONLY in blowout games. A real expensive mop- up goofball. The Kelly bobblehead promotion is nothing but a smack in the mouth.
    Kelly would have fucked up anyway, but Muncy's throw to Martin was ridiculously inept.
    That started the whole ugly sequence of events.

    Thanks to their great starting pitching, the "send in the clowns" nights have been infrequent lately.

    Floro and Kelly's implosions aside, the lineup that failed to score after 3 run second bears a major portion of the blame for last night. Three times in the last four innings they had the first two hitters reach, failing to score even a single run.

    All the fucking with players roles is not good. Messes with their mojo.
    Whit Merrifield is available and perfect for what the team needs.
    He is Kike or Taylor fully realized as a complete player.
    Spend some of the other prospects for the solid relievers available.

    CF: Joc/Whit
    2B: Whit/Muncy
    3B: Turner
    RF: Bellinger
    SS: Seager
    1B: Muncy/Freese
    LF: Pollock/Verdugo
    C : Martin/Smith

    Kike, Taylor, Barnes relegated to super utility role.

    RISP RISP RISP. Our penchant for failing in those situations has reared it's ugly head. According to reports Alex is playing hurt so there's a bit of a explanation of his struggles but who do you replace him with because pretty much all the outfielders are struggling.

    The whole lineup is struggling except Corey and Muncy. It happens. Long season. But damn does it suck.
