    You think Kershaw has some relief that he’s not lined up for a possible WC game or Game 163? He’ll probably make himself available out of the bullpen to come in once we’re down by a few runs

    Lol Yep. Kersh is sitting back with a smile. Sliding in for a few relief innings and being great without having to hold a lead, we can probably book it. Seems suitable.

    With his history, there's at least a little corner in his heart where he's thinking " phew ", especially since he can opt out after the season. What player wants to choke for the umpteenth time on the biggest stage the sport offers, right before they have the opportunity to be a free agent?

    Ummm...extending innings by not turning the rally ending DP is definitely not what 'ol Doc Roberts ordered.
    Maybe giving Macho the billion or so he'll want might not be a bad idea. At least we can say again... "We tried. Damn...we tried".
