    He has to get better somehow while we have this division won. Better to go through this than to be pulled being afraid he'd have a meltdown. Every Dodger fan has to remember that as frustrating as it is to watch the rest of the regular season is an experiment in getting geared up for the ultimate goal.

    Of the three hits that inning, one was a jam shot and another was a seeing eye ground ball away from the shift. The other was the lead off double off the fence. I'm glad he let the kid try to work his way through it.

    Like to think he learned his lesson about backing up third. Looked like he assumed the routine play would be handled.

    What I feared could happen to the starting pitching finally has...they are becoming more and more hittable by every team. Not drastically so ( except Ryu), but certainly enough, combined with a lineup that is now very mediocre...very, gives the results we have now.
    Luckily, the lead is so great, we can still easily win it in the west, but unless this trend abates, what good will it all be ?

    you're right of course and I was thinking that as I watched but still
    real or imagined a 24 era in the 6th is pretty daunting and if that's his current wall than so be it
    its not like daveys history isn't pulling pitchers prematurely

    Didn’t see one strike that at bat and still got out. Having a lead off guy that never gets on base is discouraging.
