    Yeah, he won’t have nearly the strength in that arm to do anything like that (especially catch up to a mid 90’s FB). It’d be one thing if he was a R/R guy(still a stretch), but the fact being that he’s R/L makes it as you said, “basically impossible”. Not to mention if he were to get hit on that elbow, you could do irreparable damage even with a Barry Bonds elbow guard.
    The thing about TJ is it’s not only surgery on your elbow, but your wrist and forearm as well. The whole arm needs to be brought back, hence the long recovery time.
