I wouldn’t start freese today, I’d start Verdugo though. I think Verdugo should start few next games and you alternate days off for Seager/pollock/turner

    Old friend Puig today:

Basically went 30% speed to first base and almost got thrown out on an error, and just got ejected during a fight. Him and kemp look... weird in Cincy. Just weird body language

"We just felt, with Doogy, that, uh..the home run and triple were great, but the opportunity to get Freezer in there was something that...(long pause)...worked for what we're trying to do. Not only that, but getting some A-Bees for Polly on national TV is something I feel good about" --Dave Roberts

Side note: Google searching a picture of Dave Roberts just brought back awful postseason memories.

Weirdly comforting to know Puig is still a jackass on the loose
Didn't look he hit anybody in the vid of the brawl..similar to his performance at the plate thus far this season

Don't care about Puig's stats on the Reds. He did everything he could to help us win the WS last year while most of his teammates failed and underachieved.

    Forever good in my book.

    then again roberts so...
but he should definitely start tonight... he's hot [homo]

Puig was woefully underrated by the national media. They continued to push a false narrative that he had one good half in 2013 and then sucked for the rest of his career. Guy had a .380 OBP and .500 slugging in 2014 and had plenty of ups. He didn't become a superstar but did not suck. And like you said, he almost single handedly tied the WS.

    BUT

I'm still glad he's gone. He does not move the needle for the 2019 Dodgers and his behavioral issues are not worth it.

    disagree
    your experience is vastly different
no way they'll be as tough on an underperforming ballplayer as they were on a pedo sex offender

Looks like contract year Puig could be a doozy
Didn't even realize Kemp was challenging Chris Davis for most awful
Think Davis started the year like 0-23 and is still hitless Smh Angelos deserves every bit of it

A real waste in terms of all he could've been. Damn shame nobody could get through to him. Even worse when you think about all the enablers cheering his stupid shit on. He bought the BS backslapping and kept riding right through the red light..and right outta town

Cody looks pretty great in RF though. Thanks may actually be in order

I was talking about him totally losing his shit in today's game, not his perpetual underachieving.

    Outfield should be Verdugo/Pollock/Bellinger.

Why it's so hard to do that, I have no clue.

To be fair, Jocs been great also. It’s a nice problem to have, but we really do have 4 capable outfielders at the moment
