Might tell the boys they aren't playing the Rox or the White Sox.

Can't make mistakes like Mookie's on the bases, Rojas' in the field or an 0-2 pitch to the #9 hitter. Especially when you're facing one of the best pitchers in the game.

Granted the Dodger pitching is sketchy at best, but the Asstros are without Alvarez and Pena.

Line and results weren't pretty, but Wrobo kept them in the game after a nightmarish start.

Not a big fan of drilling a hitter just because you can't get him out, but I could make an exception in Altuve's case.

Yeah, they're not the Rox or Sox for sure. And they matched up with the " weak" part of our lineup. I guess the " part is Yamo, Kersh and May (?).
Weak being a kindly label.
We've had some big trouble with some bottom dweller teams, and the come from behind wins amount itself is a testament to the offense, not the pitching. And quite honestly, I don't think the NLW so far, is all that it was cracked up to be...if they're still saying that anymore.
With Ohtani batting in the .270s, Betts .250s, Freddie is not back by any means, no matter how they mantra it, Teo a step above useless, the turnaround of Edmond ( the wrong way, unfortunately), Kike and Conforto certainly no great shakes offensively fore sure, and injuries running unmercifully rampant, I've got to think we're pretty damn lucky overall to be where we are.
Not taking away anything from individual heroics because there were plenty, but we simply are.

Teo and Edman getting MRIs and aren't starting.

Teo fouled one off his ankle and Edman took one on the foot late in yesterday's game.

I hope they have no serious damage...truthfully though, they are both not contributing much at all. Edmonds fine on D. Forget Teo.
If they need a little tme off, cant see it hurting that much.
