Missed the whole game but had no clue who won. Went to watch a quick recap and turned it off after the first inning

Bad spells happen in baseball to almost everyone at some point but a -31 differential in 4 games is fucking brutal.

Battle of the All-Star pitchers. Theirs pitched like an All-Star and ours took a massive dump. Nothing like your ace and supposed stopper getting knocked out in the first, forcing the use of five relievers coming off the wreckage of the Houston series.

The pitching collapse was bound to happen. Dodgers have used the most pitchers in the game and have piled up the most bullpen innings by far. Sad it coincided with a team wide hitting slump.

Not sure how they've put the record they have.

Shohei the DH is now hitting like a pitcher. Reduced to hoping ground balls sneak through the right side. Pathetic watching him bail out on the called strike on a changeup. Yes it should have been ball four, but it wasn't that close. He looked like a scared Little Leaguer. He'll come out of it, but his team needs him (and the rest of the slackers in the lineup) now.

Just to rub in a bit, the feckless Guardian lineup put up 7 in a win over Houston last night.

WTF is right. Only Dave would stick a one-something hitter in the 5-spot. Literally anyone 6-9 should be there before Conforto. Why would you put a guaranteed rally killer in such a critical place?

And yes, I'm hoping he reads this again...

Former All-Star closer Alexis Diaz recalled. Five earned runs and seven walks in 4.2 innings pitched at OKC.

    Fuck me.

This guy is literally on pace for 27 K's. And three so far have taken strike three looking. Outman's was a four-seamer straight down Broadway. Not sure what he's waiting for.

Oh, good... Ohtani will be coming up with the bases empty next inning, so there's a chance he does something.

Hard to know what to even say anymore. There's so much going on that's just pure stupidity and counter productive, it's head spinning.
I joked that we're on the docket here for three sweeps in a row...but not the smallest measure of amusement at all now.
Just look so over matched... game after game.
Ohtani was probably lucky in the first.
Utter domination by the Polish kid.

CK getting effed by this pathetic offense. Guy can't give up two runs without considering it insurmountable....

As for Freddie, Betts, Outman, Conforto, etc al ... striking out like little leaguers ...

    Well ...

Missed the last three innings. Obviously I didn't miss much.

Only had one look at the game (Mookie's long out to the CF wall aside). Brewers' 3B and 1B shut the door on that.

Thought Kershaw pitched very well. Fucking swinging bunt and a couple of seeing eye ground balls did him in. Very encouraged by what I saw. He was really hitting his spots.

Wish Conforto was the only black hole in the lineup.
