Frisco won 3 in 5yrs & once as WC in 2014. If LA wants to be considered the team of the century (thus far) then they ought to have to fight for it. Scuffle. Bite & scratch. Be under the radar dor a change.

I have my issues with the politics of baseball to be sure, but maybe the Dodgers need to suffer a bit and stop being postseason bitches.

If Philthy tops them & LA faces a hot team... well ... that's justice. If Roberts hadn't FAFO those season, maybe LA would be up 5 wins instead of two down.

It's not all math. It's the balance of 162 games.

Can't anyone throw strikes or put a hitter with two strikes? Eight walks and a wild pitch against one of the world hitting teams on the planet. Bloops don't hurt if you're not passing out bases on balls like free cheese.

Kershaw gets a pass because he's been so good lately and pitched very well after his first inning disaster. First major hiccup for Enriquez. Treinen hangs a two strike breaking ball and more of the same for Yates. At least Yates was a one year deal (unlike Scott).

Good to see the slumping Teo, Will and Sho break out. Will had some exceptional ABs. Best in weeks. If you blinked you missed Shohei's HR. That was a blur.

Downside was they were only 2-10 RISP and only scored one with the bases loaded and no one out in the second. Get well soon, Max. Freeland looks overmatched more often than not. He accounted for three of the Dodgers' six Ks.

Not much comfort, but the Pads shit themselves against the O's. Dodgers aren't the only ones struggling against the dregs of the game.

Yeah, unfortunately Freeland ,who I had great hopes for, is playing out as another Outman so far. He does play a pretty slick IF wherever they stick him, and seems to know innately where and when to throw the ball, unlike those who have been around for like a decade and are "learning" at their position. Teo got his fortnight frequency RBI, but he is worse than a nervous LLer out there. When he catches one at all, I want act like Steve Martin in ' Father of the Bride' when his grandson (?) accidently caught a fly ball. The OF gloves generally look unpolished and tentative. Call appears weird too.
If Teo ever gets his O back, imo,( doubtful he ever duplicates last year?), he will always be a straight up liability out there. If he drives in one, he'll give up two. In fact, just like last night. The odds are loser odds
Smith and Ohtani were great to see.
Team can't seem to coordinate good O and D and pitching for any length of time at all.
Just don't have it.

They originated as Dixie Dregs but I saw them in a club as just The Dregs. Steve Morse on guitar, and he replaced Blackmore in Deep Purple ... so yeah. Pretty good band.
