    2-18 from the first four in the lineup and still scored 7 runs. To be fair some hard hit balls found leather.

    Happy for Kershaw. Starting to resemble his old self.

    Good to see Yates and Kopech return despite some hard contact against them.

    Pivetta may have better season numbers than May, but Dustin's last three games are superior (3.18 ERA to 4.00 for Pivetta). Just hope the top of the order can stop slumping and May needs to stay grounded. I could be wrong about that last point, maybe it's his emotion that fuels him, but I just don't see it being sustainable for the whole season.

    The Cardinals trolled Clayton Kershaw by playing video of Matt Adams' 3-run homer off him in the 2014 NLDS. Kershaw responded after the game:
    "I think it’s a little bush league, but I don’t expect anything less from these guys. So, it’s no worries.”

    That Kershaw would use the video as motivation is fine. But to express his dissatisfaction with it publicly is a little thin skinned.

    He let his pitching do the talking Sunday.

    Really huge disappointment with May. I don't think he has a fucking clue ahere the ball is going.
    Really shitting the bed. All batters have to do is keep the bat on his shoulder, then wait for Machado.
    I hate watching him pitch. He's not a winner...it's not emotions, either. He just throws badly.
