this shit feels like so much of last season except it is only April. the bullpen blows, the offense is swinging for the fences all the fucking time yet can't hit pitches right down the fucking middle. I'd bet this team has a higher batting average on pitches out of the strike zone than on pitches down the middle. Need to pull their heads out of their asses and start crushing the mistakes.

Helleva time for Vesia and Scott to have their worst outings of the year. That's two in a row for Treinen.

Three run HR aside, Dodger offense did little. Pendejo Pages reared his ugly head last night. Hoped that shit was behind him.

I was ripping for his baserunning, not his play in the field. That was a difficult play.

He had an excellent night in the field. Cut down a runner at the plate and made a great relay throw to Kim who made an equally good throw to the plate to cut down another runner.

 

i know i just thought that ball was catchable since it obviously hit him in the mitt. tough play but it looked like he had it all the way. don't even know how that was scored but i'm guessing a double. he's been really good in the field. between the ears not so much. gotta take the good w the bad.

 

I don’t know who I hate more: Freeland, Tucker, or Scott.

Bottom three in the lineup (Pages, Kim and Freeland) went 6-14 with five RBI. Max evens things up in the third. Very un-Max like bomb. He usually hits majestic blasts. This was a rope.

Baby steps for Alfred e Sasaki. A lot more swing and miss, but this usual erratic stuff, too.

I know I wasn't the only one waiting for Swanson to tie the game in the 6th after Dreyer walked Crow-Armstrong (fuck him) to load the bases. Nice recovery to fan Swanson and Amaya. Klein came in cleaned up the mess.

7-18 with RISP. That will get it done.

4 shutout innings with 6 Ks.

Scored 12 runs with just one HR. Nice to see them not so HR dependent.
