    Survived the bullpen's walk on the wild side (apologies to Lou Reed) in the seventh. Hurt walked three and when he found the strike zone Arenado almost hit it out. Klein forces in a run with another walk before escaping thanks to a great play by Freddie and Mookie. Klein did well to escape another mess in the 8th. Scott bounced back from Saturday's fiasco to clean up the ninth.

    So far, so good for Lauer. Dbacks were one of the best in the game vs LH pitchers. Thought they would hammer him.

    Looked like the offense would take the night off after breaking out 4-0. Woke up in the 7th and added two more which turned out to be the runs that decided. The corpse of Mookie provided the 6th and deciding run.

    Good to see Sho continue on his heater. Arizona is Freddie's home away from home. Rushing hit three balls over 100 mph. Also chipped with a bloop in the second inning rally.

    Pleasantly surprised with Ward's running saving play in the 5th.

    One of the issues I keep seeing with Kyle Tucker is just a severe lack of intent to do damage. So many swings that are just not geared to slug, going through the motion without any violence or real whip in his barrel.

    That 2-1 swing on his fly out in that inning was very poor.

    Before we jettison Hurt to baseball Siberia it has to be noted that he's only been scored on in three of his 19 appearances and two of them were just one run each.

    Have faith that he'll recover nicely.

    The young heat seeking RH I don't trust if Henriquez. Nine walks and two HBPs in just 22 innings. No defense for free passes. 102 doesn't matter if you can find the plate.
