Mark Jackson is overrated. He is excellent at optimizing defense but fails considerably with offense. If he brought along an offensive minded assistant to help with scheme I’d be much more welcoming.
Don't think there are enough people out there in the world who rank Mark Jackson as a good coach for him to be overrated, but I agree about his offense. That's the one thing Kerr can hang his hat on, he provided a nice system for a bunch of all-stars to play in. As for the offensive minded assistant coach to help with the offensive side..they could do that, or not. It's a team with LeBron James on it. He's pretty much a system
Probable Zo's aggressiveness kept me watching, that's about it Like a shooting star, when Zo is aggressive it feels like an event to capture
Hope there's nothing to these Chandler Parsons/LAL rumors. Another one of these guys I often see when I'm Vegas, wouldn't shock me if he didn't give a damn about basketball anymore. Could swear he's now walking with a permanent limp thanks to the microfracture surgery he needed on his knee years back. Just play Svi and Moe. I mean, I guess I could see it if LAL unloads for AD and they need experienced bodies in the wake of a huge trade..hell, even Melo would probably be a short term option in that scenario Meanwhile, Boston is pretty much at full strength and struggling, yet semi-flying below the radar nationally. They're also becoming more of a threat as a suitor for AD..when guys aren't getting along, obviously, makes it easier to cut bait. Losers of 3 in a row and firmly in the 5th seed..Boston's young players and the older guard are reportedly beefing. Kyrie VS Tatum, Jaylen Brown VS Marcus Morris, etc. Now, we get to see what Brad Stevens is really made of
Lol Kyrie is something else. Smh The new stuff with his teammates is perhaps the best yet. Playing the role of long time, wise veteran and raking the youngsters through the media..pretty epic. Then he goes off and has a great, great game against Kawhi before using LeBron as a prop to hit the kids over the head one more time after the game. And the Uncle Drew hat in the interview. Lmfao Feels like he's trying to burn Boston down before he leaves..or force Ainge to move the kids for AD. Goes out and gets 18 assists in the game against Kawhi..shit, I'm not sure if Kyrie's ever had 18 assists in a 2 game span. Saw a Kimmel interview a while back where AD actually said Kyrie was probably his closest friend in the league, keep that in mind. And now here comes Stephen A. running with this Kyrie/LeBron make up, talking about how he got a text from someone plugged in - " guess it makes it a bit easier for Kyrie to go to the Lakers now this offseason. " LeBron/Kyrie/AD on the LAL next year?? Can't say that I'd be shocked. Even though Stephen A. is a blow hard, that was a hell of a thing for Kyrie to put out there..right from his lips. And of course Kobe is Kyrie's idol. If Kobe were to do his part in recruiting Kyrie on behalf of Pelinka, you don't think Kyrie would at least listen? Twists and turns of the NBA.
LAL @ OKC tonight Tania GanguliVerified account@taniaganguli Same starting lineup for the Lakers tonight as Tuesday.
Asswhoopin well underway Luke complaining about the level in which they're competing..finally opening up the bench early. Svi and Moe in early About damn time, play the guys that want to play hard
Why the fuck did he take Moe out after 2 minutes? And Moe made a good move to the basket, got fouled and made both free throws Man, fuck Luke Walton I don't give a damn if Kuz is ready to come in, bring him in for somebody else Moe back in and for 3. Play the kid
Ball made a horrible play. However, they should have fouled the moment they crossed the halfcourt line if that's your strategy. Immediately. If your team isnt on that page, then it's on you. Coaching. Think a Pop led team, or Kerr led team would have any player on their team not make the right play in that circumstance?
