    entire game filled with selfish at bat after selfish at bat. Dodgers should've scored about 8 off of the starter alone but pure selfishness and chasing shit out of the zone time after time after time is why they didn't. then on the other side they just walk bum after bum after bum. no one in the mets lineup hitting above .260 but we fill the need to continually throw non competitive pitches

    Welp…punting a game with a chance to sweep is a theme with this team but would’ve signed up for a 6-3 road trip without hesitation.

    Bullpen shat all over whatever chance they had to win this one. Seven earned and 5 fucking walks in three innings. Phillips is paying for every bad pitch he makes and Klein is a mess. Rushing didn't help with a half assed effort that let a run in.

    Sheehan pitched well enough to win. Allowed three hits to the first three hitters, two bloops and a seeing eye single. Followed that up with four shutout innings.

    As was stated previously in this thread, way too many selfish or brain dead ABs, Shohei and Pages in particular. Brain dead is too kind to describe Teo's failure to slide.

    It was a "we've won three series in a row on the road, so let's let the fuck out of town" effort.
