    watching the post interview w Shohei and his interpreter one thing is clear. life sure isn't fair. here is the tall, handsome, near perfect athlete making God's money. and then this tiny squirrel man answering and interpreting. i'm sure he has a great life but not fair. a good socialist would have Shohei at least give him his hair.

    I was happy to see them bring him out for the 9th in this one. If they hadn't it would have signalled that he was probably still the closer. Now there's a chance he no longer is.

    The team needs him, but he has to fix his issues in a way where he isn't costing any more wins.

    As Karros suggested for Tucker, maybe a vacation to the Arizona facility might be in order.

    If anyone can fix Diaz it's the Dodger coaching staff.

    Leave to Edwin Diaz to shit on what otherwise was a great win. No need to rag on Tucker. It's like picking on a special needs kid at this point. I almost feel sorry for him.

    Nice outing for Snell, third inning spazz out aside. 16 pitches over two innings for Phillips and Vesia. Would have been less if not for Clank Tucker.

    I know it's the Rockies, but breaking out for 11 runs is just what the doctor ordered for this group. Max laid down the big blow with a three run HR. Sho followed with two more and Freddie broke out of his extra base funk with a pair of doubles. Three hit game for Pages.

    Not saying I want a salary cap, but I'm sick of the "pro labor" bias online.
    It's disgusting how guys like Tucker, Rendon, and countless others get paid so much money regardless of performance or whether they play at all.

    I never understood how Diaz ever achieved what he has in the past. He's another one of those pitchers who, imo, throws the same pitch every time. It seems like he doesn't even vary his speeds, either.
    I just don't get it. If you hang in there as a batter, you're going to get a pitch that you can hammer. And now, his command sucks, so you can walk, too.
    Badfeeling when he comes in. He can be used in an 11-2 game, but what about the close ones ? The vibe I get when he walks in in the 9th is the complete opposite of what you are supposed to feel when your closer comes in.
    Like Gagne or Toomis back in the day...

    Kimbell, 2025 Scott, and Diaz have all really underwhelmed as high priced closers. Maybe it's time to stick to in house recruiting for closers, such as '23 Phillips.
