    I would've posted that but I was busy trying to find Koufax's quote from his perfecto... I believe the curve he threw Ernie Banks in the 8th hurt so bad that he opted for nothing but fastballs until the end. Every batter after him knew the fastball was coming.

    So yeah... I wish Diaz had Rivera's cutter to offset his 100mph fastball. Maybe then he wouldn't suck so hard.

    Fanned the last six hitters, including Hall of Famers Ernie Banks and Ron Santo.

    One of my favorite Dodger games ever, made even better by Vin's perfect call.

    Emmet Sheehan is getting called back up by the Dodgers, source tells @capostsports. Sheehan is in Denver today, two weeks after being optioned to get a "reset" in triple-A.

    Sheehan is coming off 5.2 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts in a start with OKC last week. For now, however, he will be an option out of the Dodgers' bullpen.

    the only way this is good news if it means díaz is going out on rehab (baseball, substance, whatever)

    I'd like a hard salary cap with a 50/50 revenue split between MLB/MLBPA with the owners opening their books for auditing to make sure they aren't fucking over the players
    And a salary floor of 90% of the cap so teams like the Indians can't just horde money
    Even if the cap takes away part of the Dodgers' current advantage, I think it would be beneficial for the health and growth of the game
