Won't be available on Wednesday but I'd like to go to a game or two this year. I don't think I've been to a game since 2023 or something like that.

 

would be cool to see you again although i'd want to see if there could be a ping pong table around since i want a rematch...on second thought i'm probably good without that seeing as i don't bounce off the floor quite as well as i used to. : )

The hitless wonders pile up 10 hits, but score only three runs, one on a solo HR. 2-10 with RISP. Too many first pitch hacks at marginal or poor pitches. If you're going to swing at the first pitch make it a good one. Looked like Roberts was pissed at Kim after he hit a weak ground ball to the left side after first pitch swinging at a pitch low and away after Teo's leadoff double. Pages was hacking at low pitches out of the zone all night. No words for Sho.

The lack of offense leaves little of margin for the pitching staff. It's exposed when a couple of normally reliable arms like Vesia and Klein take a shit.

Have another obligation so I'll miss tonight's game. Wish I had missed last night's.

 

Watched about half an inning of last night's disappointment ... what a revolting development.

missed the game out to dinner w friends in for the kids wedding. my good friend was suggesting i grab a ticket for Thursday and hang out w the real UK drinking club after going to the Wed game. instead of embracing it i was thinking no way but said "ill see how they're doing and might meet up" . then i glanced at my phone to see a 9-3 score. instead of catching the game w a bunch of cricket fans watching the local heroes put on a show it looks like full humiliation. not going to ruin a great time this weekend but can't these guys show even a mild interest in doing their job properly? can already hear that snarky English sarcasm at the reception lol. and then they were talking about having to get a Dodger dog! my shoulders were sagging as i sipped my highball...
