    Had all the making of a letdown game coming off a road trip until the seventh. Patience led to two walks and good fortune (Rojas getting plunked by an 0-2 pitch) loaded the bases. Sho got one home on the force out. Mookie just enough of it for the sac fly (fortunately Kim was running) and Freddie and Pages (impressive AB) gave them the lead. Credit Karros for calling out Shohei with his tag up on the sac fly. Not an fan of EK, but he caught that one.

    Superman Sheehan deflects a 100 mph bullet and gave them six innings of two run ball.

    Streak finally ended with the solo HR. Hurt recovered quickly and retired the next three hitters. Klein was dominant in the 8th and Vesia and Treinen cleaned up the 9th. Treinen with his vintage sinker/sweeper combo for the final out.

    Curious to see how a former Dodger killer like Lauer does tonight. Last Dodger killer that joined them was total shit. Remember the Tourette's guy Jim Eisenreich?

    Once in a while they hit it pretty well...Sasaki is a good likeness. I remember one Lasorda version that looked like a hit man on angel dust.
    The dog is not even in the vicinity of the breed...just the colors.

    The one that always comes to mind for me - I don't even remember his name but he was called the Flaming Hawaiian or something. Hated that guy. Bad for the Dodgers when he was the opponent. Bad for the Dodgers when he joined.
