I guess it's Pages or bust... This game is a fucking pathetic Dodger showing. Wow. An embarrassment of bitches more like it...
roberts already in midseason form could have left klein in to face ramirez, but just had to force scott into the game and why? one guy has earned the right to face the tough outs whereas the other is a feckin liability but it’s okay davey, just go with your gut idiot
@Alden_Gonzalez The Dodgers wrapped up their first homestand of the season, and the top four hitters in their star-studded lineup -- Shohei Ohtani, Kyle Tucker, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman -- combined to slash .188/.289/.282. It's a minor miracle they went 4-2.
I can't say I've seen the guy play all that much (and be worth what they gave him), but he looks as average as a player can possibly be.to me.
Very rare that Yamamoto gets outpitched by the other side (not that Yama was bad). Limp dick Dodger hitters aside, Williams was very good last night. My final words re. the Cleveland staff.......... Re. the Dodger hitters......
Tucker has been mediocre, but so has everyone else at the top of the lineup except for Smith for a game or two. Ohtani's 5 LOB last night hurt. I previously posted about how the bottom of the lineup should give Shohei more RBI opportunities than last year, and they did that last night. He has to cash them in... that's what league MVPs do. Betts' swing looks better than last year, but the numbers aren't there. Freddie has been almost non-existent at the plate, save the meaningless solo HR at the end of yesterday's game. Time for the whole top of the order to wake up.
eh its 162 game season after all the celebrating and these guys will be there i thought Williams in particular looked like he had pretty incredible stuff not to make excuses w the way tanner has been pitching i get trying to bolster his confidence but seems that backfired what i don't get is why a slumping Shohei can't do things he used to do all the time like bunt for a hit
i think the team needs to realize they have a bullseye on their back, and guys are going to play against us like it’s game 7 of the WS, and pitchers are going to throw the games of their lives that said, if the players get their heads out of their asses, they’ll realize they are by far the better team and more than capable of beating anyone any day
It's fashionable to hate the Dodgers again. The league hates them in the 70s & 80s ... ans thanks to Fox, McCourt, & Bud Selig... nobody GAF about LA for a long time. It's good to be detested again.
believe it or not in about 90 minutes… Ohtani DH Tucker RF Betts SS Freeman 1B Smith C Muncy 3B T Hernández LF Pages CF Freeland 2B Sheehan SP
heading over for breakfast w the gf and the game on my laptop! weird to start the day this way but better if we hit the ball a little
