Dave takes Ryu out because of innings limit even though he's made just 65 pitches. Goes to Baez who instantly walks the pitcher and gives up a 2 run HR. Dave is fired mid-inning.

Matt Kemp kneels for God Bless America. Dodgers Digest writes an article about its positive impact on society. Turns out he was down velcroing Joc's cleats. Dodgers Digest retracts article, but publishes another one, upset that the lineup is now a minority free Dozier-Turner-Muncy-Bellinger-Pederson-Barnes-Taylor-Utley. Trying to save face after the article is published, new manager Utley lets Machado, Kike, and Kemp bat with the bases loaded. They each K on 3 pitches. Their parent company MSNBC decides to pull the plug and now Dodger fans can just read the newspaper and check Fangraphs. Good riddence.

With the sweep complete, the Dodgers become sellers. Kershaw, Kenley, Seager, and Bellinger all clear waivers. A rival exec: "Have you seen those bkitches play in the post? Lmao. No way a contender would deal for those choke artist fkags".

Dodgers stock plummets. Mark Walter files for bankruptcy. Dodgers go to auction where they are purchased by Frank McCourt. He levels Dodger Stadium and extends the parking lot.

Frank sells the Dodgers to a group financed by Spike Lee, Robert Mosses III, and Larry King. They move the Dodgers back to Brooklyn. They win the WS two years later against our new expansion team, "The Los Angeles Traffics".

We all give up on baseball and die.

 

They REALLY REALLY have to get their shit together and do it pretty fast. Still in the thick of it but D-Backs schedule gets easier with 2 games against Texas and 4 fucking games against the LOWLY Pads while we get a rival that seems to beat us at crucial times. I'm NOT OPTIMISTIC!!!!

Not hitting has different levels, I think...sometimes just hitting into bad luck -at someone, etc.
Swing altered by rust after a layoff, or even an injury itself.
But what is the excuse for swinging weakly at terrible pitches like he's doing night after night? The effort looks like he has just given up, and.honestly, could care less. At least it hasn't had an effect on his defense...but his offense is wickedly inept. I don't know if he swung at outside pitches on Balt. and hit them anyway, but he sure isn't hitting them now.
Idk. An unexpected and very large problem, as if there isn't enough already.
