Sounds good to me, but I feel Fernando deserves extra consideration beyond his statistics - for what he did for baseball with the Latino community both in uniform and behind the mic.
well all of that sounds well and good but then you gotta do it for the blacks and the gays and the japs and the guys off the rez and every other tom dick and hoodini who thinks his culture or community gives him some sort of special entitlement to come to this country deserving extra special consideration beyond the merits of their accomplishments unlike the rest of us hard working tax paying red assed americans!
If a PED user Big Sloppy Ortiz is in the HOF, Bonds and Clemens should definitely be in. Sheffield should be in too. Schilling is an inexcusable snub (but not on this list). Kent was born in Bellflower, went to Edison HS, and put Milton Bradley in his place (racist). I hope he gets in but he won't. Pretty much all of these players should be in the HOF.
Apropos Kent goes in and Bonds does not...aside from liking Kent from day one on the Dodgers as a hard-nosed, clutch ballplayer, I also admired him for publically calling out Bonds and telling it like it was with him as a person.... Congratulations, Jeff! Long may you wave...
