I don't know if I want to keep him anymore. That extra 1st rounder is looking real nice. Idk, guys who are on their contract year usually beast. Hanley on the other hand...

    Let's discuss.

50/50 for me. Love the guy but just can't stay healthy enough to go on a tear.

Kind of worried that the Tony Bosch list will solve this debate... I hope not, but....

I would let him walk, and take the draft pick, provided that the money they would've spent be diverted and used on a Starting Pitcher, specifically Jon Lester. (no draft pick attached to him)

i think he thinks he's worth more and already has sort of checked out
keep waiting for him to go on a tear and i still think he will hopefully in the playoffs
but all things being equal i'm fine if he stays or if he goes tbh
never would have said that a year ago but the dude sure seems to sulk a bit more than the average egotistical ball player

The price to keep him is what gets me. I've been in his corner for a long time, but the defense + injuries just don't equate to a $100 million player.

Guys.. he isn't hurt as much as people think. He just needs time off to play the transgendered chick on Orange is the new black.

I'd lean towards keeping him but I obviously see the arguments to letting him leave

Just depends on the contract for me. Our offense really drops off without him.

I'm not interested in Hanley at SS or 3B. If he wants to/is able to move to LF, I'd be interested.

Hate to say it, but Hanley belongs in the American League as a DH. Seager needs to be on an accelerated plan at this point

Probably a blessing in disguise. Get him geared up for the postseason.

    ^^This , for sure.
Feel absolutely the same, but what can you do.
No matter how talented he is, the non-ceasing torrent of injury after injury, has to be wearing him down to a mere shadow of his former self...I wonder how much more he can really take and be viable?
Kinda sad really...the guy is a potential powerhouse of offense.
Maybe I read too much into his body language, but I think I see an acceptance of things to come with him sometimes in his demeanor...probably wrong.

let him go..way too much to deal with and they have other options in-house. gotta treat his back before every game, gotta keep an eye on his hamstrings, gotta do this and gotta do that just keep the dude on the field. gotta do everything EXCEPT make him one of the richest shortstops in the game. i bet the Rockies wish they didn't have to pay Tulo for the 100 games (if they're lucky) that he plays every season..none of their wishes come true though. if they did Tulo wouldn't be hurt all the time to begin with.

give the Guerrero/Arruba tandem a shot at locking SS down next year. if that fails..next shot goes to Seager in 2016.

Dodgers need to be winning, right now, not giving years away to experiment tbh
