    Fucking walks. Have to cut Grove a little slack. He made a perfect pitch for what should have been strike three to the leadoff man. Fucking umpire was flipping a coin behind the plate all night.

    Looking like Phillips is slowing working his way out of his funk.

    I take back all the shit talk about Kiermaier. Thought for sure he would be out the door when Edman and Muncy return. Heyward might be coming up with a sore back soon. Ahmed seems to be the other one likely to go.

    As long as the pitch clock continues in it's present form, without modifications, this is absolutely baseball from this point on. Without doubt. It gets everyone home a 1/2 hr. sooner, and ruins team rotations. Nice trade off.
    And as long as incompetent piles of shit are calling balls and strikes, rampant in the sport, they will control the outcomes of games. Maybe a world series, who knows?
    For a blatant example, the 5 th run was a gift from that Cycops behind the plate last night. Had they gone on to score more than six, LA loses, and shouldn't have.
    That's nobody's fault but theirs.
    Not even Dave Moronsey.
