TPE for Beasley I like it
I think Beasley would be terrible as a laker to be honest.
Beasley would come extremely cheap and he would provide us with instant offense.
Gifted is the word I think of when I think of Beasley
Kobe might just be able to give him a swift kick in the ass that he needs.
Guy put up 19 last year as a started. He doesn't start anymore and it's just a chemistry issue with that team. Beasley would have more chances to create with us and would step into the starting 3 spots which could be a major confidence booster. The real question is, does it hurt our team? No. It's a low risk high reward scenario. If we can't get sessions for the TPE, then do it, and go after Arenas.
We should trade for Sessions and sign Arenas.
tpe is better reserved for a pg..
Like what Johnny Flynn?
I'd trade a 1st for Sessions all day long
like sessions or stuckey.. Flyn is garbage
You're not getting Sessions or Stuckey for TPE.
Flynn is better than what we have.
ok houdini? why not? have you talked to their gm or what?
More common sense than anything.
Teams aren't giving away good young players for free these days.
that is why you use the the assets we have..we have 2 1st rounders in a deep draft and another future first on 2014... Never mention they give us the player for nothing.. I think you assume on your own...
When you look at it.., Iriving is the pg of the future for the cavs...Sessions is just rotting there you really think they would not accept a deal for tpe and 1st rounders? they save money and get picks to build with irving..
As for stuckey I know he would be very difficult to get since Knight has regressed but if we offer something like
Stuckey for TPE and 2 first rounders maybe they might take it...
The actual common sense is that because the cavs have Irving, they would free up a little cap space, then draft more young talent to other areas of need in the draft, or use the TPE next year to add talent to a position that is of more need. They are going to have a hole at SF and their front court is pretty weak. Plus SG. The only position they are cool at for sure now and the future is pg. Sessions is a good young player, but not so much that a bunch of teams are going to be demanding of his services, so for a player for player swap in terms of talent, the options are limited, as a contender isn't going to give up a comparable talent to get him, nor will the cavs take any players with multiple years in return.
So common sense wise for them, draft pick or TPE would be more logical then a player swap.
Wasn't there an article saying Cavs asking price for Sessions was a 1st? (I Could be mistaken)
but if Sessions could be had for a 1st (my thinking)
why would we give the Cavs extra (TPE)
if we don't have to?
Where have I ever said anywhere that the Cavs won't trade Sessions?
I think I'm one of the bigger advocates for trading for Sessions.
I think you assume on your own...
so what would we give the cavs then? just 1st rounder for sessions? it does not work salary wise..we dont have any expirings also...
assume on what? you are the one saying Teams aren't giving away good young players for free these days when i suggested stuckey or sessions..lol
Your right about the salary, I had the cap room mixed in my head.
You assumed I didn't think the Cavs would trade Sessions
while I assumed you meant that we could trade TPE only for Sessions.
I agree I think he has enormous talents and if we can tap into those we would have found a real gem
Ramon Sessions is the best pg available, I dont care what anyone says, the dude used to put up triple doubles with the Bucks, cant see why he cant do that now...Any PG is an upgrade over Fisher
