Yes, actually. Maybe you're going by Kings' standards?

Thanks to the Kings last night, teams losing by 25pts in the 4th quarter now have a record of 3 - 3,000+ in such games in the modern era.

    21-15 @ home now
If Lakers win 3 home games in a row ( god I hope not for lottery purposes) they'll basically be the Kings
Clippers in prime position to lose their 1st round pick

Quite the performance for a guy that isn't a leader lol. Had Lonzo done anything similar, I can only imagine the dick sucking taking place. His dad would be on every talk show in America calling Lonzo the next MJ.

Magic is god awful at evaluating talent and if you think 1 performance last night is where I get that opinion from then you haven't been paying attention.

He's really not a leader though. He's an above average scorer, below average defender, replacement all-star in a conference that's now lacking high end all-star talent. He's not really doing anything that we didn't think he could do. He was producing in this league offensively years ago.

You mentioned Zo there. D'angelo doesn't go off like that against Zo's defense.

And he's durable. D'Angelo doesn't have to worry about Zo giving him the clamps since Zo can never find the court. His defensive rating is -0.5 while his offensive rating is 2.6....he more than makes up for it and i'm sure the Nets locker room would disagree with you on the leader label.

Not that Zo is a leader either. Just saying, crying over D'angelo is prisoner of the moment stuff. He's never winning anything as an inefficient lead guard that can't defend either guard spot.

I'd say Kuz has a pretty good shot at being better than D'angelo. Kuz obviously drafted very late in the 1st round

Magic was pushed to resign Julius/Lopez by the coaching staff and opted for Lance, McGee, and Beasley instead....D'Angelo is just a small piece in the complaints for Magic.

The same guy that had Michael Carter-Williams as the next Jason Kidd, thought Brandon Knight should go #1, Jahlil Okafor could be a 1 option on a title contender, etc.

Forever thankful for what he did as a player, but he's god awful in his current role.

Lol What? D'angelo played 63 games in his 2nd season because of injury and then played only 48 games last year. " D'angelo is durable "..another example of the prisoner of the moment stuff I was talking about.

And everything that he does defensively that's considered a plus comes from the Nets matching him up with forwards. Dude can't stay with guards. I supported D'angelo, still think he'll be productive for a solid amount of time, but I'm not about to say letting him go was a mistake. Given all of the above and the fact that LAL was/is trying to convince vets to join. He still did what he did to Young

Why in the hell would Magic listen to a coaching staff that's on borrowed time?
What the hell are people smoking? This can't be all on the disappointing season. You guys are smoking something Lol

Lose them all. I mean all.
Dr. Buss was lucky enough to land Magic @ #1 after Kareem landed. Jeanie may be lucky enough to land Zion after landing LeBron. Although, there was no lottery back then with Magic

The coaching staff was on burrowed time prior to free agency? That's news to me. Only person smoking something is the guy defending signings of garbage role players over productive players lol.

    Maybe we should reacquire Mosgov.

72/73 games this season and 80 his rookie season. I'm starting to wonder if we ever get 60 games in a season out of Lonzo.

No front office should ever be loyal to scrub ass Nick Young. Where's he again?

Magic was never taking any free agent advice from a coaching staff that he didn't hire..a coaching staff that he planned on replacing after a season with low expectations. It was set in stone that this year was a wash after George chose to stay in OKC.

Also, again, Julius wanted to get to the free agent market, so the split was mutual. And obviously, Julius wasn't highly sought after on the open market because of questions about his work ethic. He didn't kill it on the open market. He's making $9M this year

Wouldn't that give you a bigger incentive to bring him back? Low cost...low risk. I could see the argument for not retaining Julius if he got some outrageous contract, but 9 mill is quite the bang for the buck for a guy like that compared to what 9 mill usually nets you in the NBA.

And sandwiched between this season and his rookie year, 63 and 48. So half the time he's durable? Lol

You're defending what D'angelo did to Young? You must really be mad. This season is definitely fucking with you.

Nah, I was just as upset at D'Angelo as anyone was when it happened but he's far from the first young player to do something stupid. What was he....21? Plenty of players have done way worse in pro sports and been forgiven.

You're gonna bring him back against his wishes? That's your plan? And how does that change the outlook of the team from a championship standpoint?
Gebbeth explained what happened with Julius a page or so ago, same as I did weeks ago.
