Beverly showed LeBron what a PG is.
More than being able to make nifty passes.

Will probably be harder to trade KCP if he never plays at all, so root for him to get at least 10-15 minutes. 25 is definitely too much, but Rondo and Caruso will likely cut into those minutes, Kuz as well eventually. Maybe Norvell will get a shot down the road..certainly an Iggy addition later in the season could knock KCP out of the rotation completely if he's even still around. What really sucks is that KCP once again has a no trade clause and can veto any trade. Of course, last year LAL had agreed with Chicago on a KCP for Jabari Parker trade and KCP killed it.

Pels parked Zo on the bench for the whole 4th, probably because he still can't make free throws and was shooting like shit again last night..Gentry being an offensive guru, he's not gonna stand for Zo's shitty shooting. That marriage may not last..they may fire Gentry if they think Zo/Zion can be something special. That said, Zo might have been of use for LAL in the 4th last night..they could've loaned him to LAL since they didn't use him

Oh and bench shmench. LAL's bench going to have to be better? Of course. But the Clips' bench is overrated..they've got guys coming off the bench that are playing starter's minutes, guys that are clearly better than their starters. Years back Odom was coming off our bench, playing more than 30 minutes a night and finishing games..not really a bench player. Misleading stuff

Zubac starts the game and plays 10 minutes..Pat Patterson starts and plays like 15 minutes. Those are bench players. I'll say this for their true bench caliber guys..Harkless is a good one and J.Green/Zubac obviously have the potential to be productive, even if Doc still isn't the biggest Zu supporter. They have one or two threats among the true bench caliber guys, but they're overrated on the whole. Shamet losing minutes to George will give them another solid one

Luke Walton played Fox, Buddy and Bagley in the 4th quarter of a 20+ point blowout. Bagley broke his thumb, Buddy rolled his ankle, Fox banged his knee.

Damn. Clips look good. Lakers really have to step up their game...get on the same page. No excuses or late game collapses.

Could be around Xmas time when LAL begins to play their best ball. They have a soft schedule coming into the season, so they'll win games, but it'll probably be ugly wins. Less than half the team from last year returning, and only LeBron/KCP/Javale currently healthy among the returning guys - guys that didn't accomplish anything together, major work in progress. Of course, the Clips have a core of returning guys that actually accomplished something last year. Sounds like LAL is eventually going to have integrate Iggy as well - what will likely be a major piece..

ESPN's Jackie MacMullan said she's spoken to four players who said Iguodala will sign with the Lakers if he reaches a buyout agreement with the Grizzlies.

"He's going to the Lakers. I've had four different players tell me that. Every player I talk to tells me that," MacMullan said on the Hoop Collective podcast.

Frank Vogel says that Kyle Kuzma is ruled out Friday. Rajon Rondo remains questionable but Vogel made a point to say how big of a role he expects Rondo to play this season - in the 25-30 minute per game range.

Great role player, yes. Also another injury prone veteran.

That's generally healthy enough to go when it really matters. All they can ask for in year 16.

The Clippers will be in line for Iggy when the time comes, just like a handful of other contending teams. Sounds like they'll all lose out to LAL

Would take Iggy in a heartbeat if available. Don’t need him for major minutes.

Don’t disagree with you. It’s way too early. But the Clips look like they have their shit together early. It helps to have a coach that has been with the team for many years....better continuity.

But I’m waiting for the Lakers to get on the same page soon, or at least by Christmas.

Also, Doc Rivers is a horrible playoff coach. Remove that one year when the Celtics won it all, he’s had spectacular meltdowns in the post season.

Yeah but we have LeBron and AD.
Great players but do they have great heart?
And how does it compare with those of George and Leonard.
They have the fire that our players are missing.

18-22 true bench minutes. Maybe 25 occasionally in the playoffs if the opposition has a wing like Kawhi.

Clips certainly had their fun with the KCP/Kawhi matchup the other night

Listen, anytime you can pay a homeless man’s Kawhi Leonard, a guy who is the 4 or 5th best player on a contender, 29M a year, you just gotta do it Danny Ainge!

Reminds me of Morey/Eric Gordon from a month or so ago.

Danny is getting after it on D. There are much bigger gripes than that with this team.

I'm on Green's dribbling for now, I'll leave the rest to you and the others

Javale Dumbass McGee sits to start the 2nd half

Conley looking like the most overpaid man in America

Danny Green dribbling again..all he had to do was make the extra pass to Caruso in the corner. At least he made that last 3 ball
