Nah, didn't come back to slap dicks with 15 guys. Came to shoot the shit with 4 or 5 guys that root for LAL - which you don't, so it doesn't matter. Not supporting the Lakers or the NBA, but still showing up in the LAL thread to bellyache about the NBA/Lakers/mebron/whatever - that's what seems silly. So the mystery of why you frequent in this thread is still unsolved, but perhaps you can figure out another mystery - why there's only like 15 posters on DSP these days?

Pack up the Mystery Machine and grab your pet Scoob - who *noted; quick fact check* hasn't posted anything since July. Yet the weirdo stalker shows up in OCT - not to talk Dodgers - but to sniff my dick and lend you support on your fuck up from the other day. Shows up - complete - with a weirdo avatar to match. Lmao So perfect. Smh Put that clown and his corny, homemade memes on my ignore list at least 5 years ago and the poor fella's still giving Game 7 troll effort. :D Guess it's safe to say he's a prick that deserved his spot on the list. Don't care if there are only 3 posters left by next week - he's riding the bench. Hell, he'd beat you out for Deniro's weirdo role in The Fan, and handily. And right now, I'm sure we both know that he's just happy for the attention. All Deniro wanted.

yeah maybe you're right and i don't have much positive to contribute to an nba thread but negative comments
idk if its bellyaching as much as just despair from losing touch w something that gave me some of the greatest thrills of my life
still that has nothing to do w what's taking place in this playoff process because as they say it is what it is
would have been great if politics had stayed out of sports but that horse is way down the road now

WOW, a whole paragraph? Mental much? Kinda sad, really, that all you have in life is The Internet... Or, maybe it's pathetic? Lemme ask the other 14 guys on here and get back to you... You know, my mother (and probably yours too, go up and ask her) always said a leopard can't change his spots. Funny, though, how you mentioned me being on your ignore list (then and now), and yet you still saw all my posts?

LMAO! So once again STOP LYING!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

yeah as is admitting you're not always right
anyway in the end sports aren't even worth the time it takes to think about it unless you actually play
but without a doubt i was addicted to the real Lakers and actual basketball
those days are gone forever over a long time ago oh yeah

As ignorant as you've ever been to my memory. Maybe that's what these dudes see in you? Always room for 1 clown, I suppose. Lol Check it out, soft turd....I opened the LAL thread without signing in. That's it. And - duh - if you don't sign in, the list isn't active, so all posts are visible. Go ahead and ask one of your mod buddies to check out my list if you don't think you're on it. You're on the bench for being the corniest among the group, but you're there. You're just in the Jared Dudley role.

And cut the shit x 1,000. " All you have in life is the internet "....dude, you're posting because of me. I run you. Haven't uttered a word to you in at least 5 years or even thought about you until the last page. I decided to give you attention. I gave you life. Call me " daddy. " You wouldn't be here without me. And I see that you gave all of my posts a like after I gave you a little life..weirdo. What's that supposed to do? Cover up your anger for me pullin your card and swattin that ass today? Lol Such a fake. Who ya foolin? Put a sweater on over that see-through blouse.

wasn't taking it as sour and i was just acknowledging being one of those dudes that was laughing after the first loss to portland
at any rate you're right i don't argue w you at least that i recall and i'm not taking shots or at you or anything else
and i think its pretty clear i don't have any issue w admitting being wrong as just evidenced
don't think the Lakers gaf if i like the nba or not as well and you were right the Laker thread should be a place to celebrate what should be a championship so carry on and i'll stop repeating the things that make give me nausea about the present
appreciate the gambling link but this boy works too hard for his money
well not really tbh but i did and don't like throwing it away but point taken

Didn't even realize you were relaying the news that Doc was fired at the time. Smh Now, he's off to Philly - to try and get Embiid in shape? Good luck with that BS. Tough decisions looming in Philly..tanked all of those years and the best thing for them at this time may be to trade both Embiid and Simmons. Hard to trade Simmons, though, with his knee and new contract. Doc knows good and well that Perkins wasn't a factor in that series..would've been wiped in '08, too, had Bynum been able to go then. Ariza was hurt in '08, too.

Whatever, I'm enjoying all the leaks coming from Clips' camp these days. They've got bums over there that believe they're better than Paul George....and what's really fun is that the bums have solid arguments. Bunch of guys that don't know their roles. Harrell is a free agent and I actually could see the Mavs going after him. Can't defend for shit, but Luka would have another gun for those games that Porzingis' knees act up. Mavs probably beat the Clips in the 1st round with a healthy Porzingis. I suspect Ballmer will just try and buy an NBA title next year..especially if the Lakers do close out the Heat for #17.

It really is fucking amazing how desperate the NBA is for money that they have to absolutely rig games. Oh we are gonna let physical play happen late but call two fouls when AD is vertical and jumping backwards and Butler jumps into him and Butler is caught under the basket and they bail him out there too all while letting Butler hit AD on the arm on his putback and letting Bam forearm shove AD almost all the way out of the paint on Kieff's pass at the end.

Eh, that wasn't the story of the game. I get the frustration, but Duncan Robinson bustin ass was the story of the game. If they handle their business and continue to contain the 3 ball - they win.

One could also say the Laker role players just choked. We get 2 pts from Dwight, 8 from Danny Green, 7 from Kuz, 4 from Rondo, 3 from Caruso, and 0 from Morris. 9 guys played..3 in double figures and it took KCP 15 shots to get his 16 pts. But at least KCP was aggressive. I saw Keef Morris' ass tighten in the moment - same as his Clipper brother. 23 minutes and 0 points on 0-2 shooting. And if AD isn't hurt, now - he'll just get hurt next game. If I'm frustrated about anything, it's AD getting hurt every other play..picking himself up off the floor every other play. No more Finals MVP talk for him. It's LBJ for us - or no one.

Davis hits the deck more often than Randall Tex Cobb back in the day. Not saying it's his fault, but I've never seen a player get hit in the face as often as he does.

LeBron had (for him) a shooting game for the ages last night. I don't see another shooting game like that from him. Someone among the role players is going to have to take up some of that slack Sunday.

One thing that is becoming clearer to me is that professional sports is not about the players or the teams or the leagues.
The most important part of the entire shebang is the asses in seats.
Without live fans at the stadium the entire thing loses its poetry.
