Not to mention his insane attempts to cover up his baldness.

I was out at a party. Saw the score and watched what happened on DVR. Gross.

    Well...I'm sorry.
I can only use the fact that Adolf Hitler's idol was Henry Ford.
How that relates is unknown, but it sounds like an explanation. Of sorts.
Uh... Ford was an American icon and lifted America (or a huge part of) from fledgling nation to an emergent er...giant. And Hitler was a guy who parted his hair on the wrong side. And some other bad stuff, too, I think.

What pray tell, are his insane attempts at covering up his baldness? I know he wears a baseball cap sometimes, but I think he has to. It's the rules.
Like spray on hair or something?

BZ, that was amongst the most weak ass lame stretches of unfathomable logic that I've seen ... in a very long time... and like yourself, I've been around the block a time or two...

It would have been simpler to sack up and say that Mays was a HoF players player who deserved respect regardless of his playing for the vaGiants... but you gotta try and defend Hitler?!? :smh:

maybe your coffee hadn't kicked in yet at 6:44AM?

This really is a trap series if I ever saw one. Looks like a series loss tbh. Not overreacting to a couple losses, it just genuinely looks that way. We'll see.

I agree... Obviously I think we're better but it just would make sense for the offense to not be good enough this series paired along with some pitching messing up. I bet we do fine against the Bo sox bt this series looks a bit rough

I don't get benching Puig. Maybe once Kemp ever gets back, but taking him out of the lineup now certainly doesn't help us.

LOL, really? I hope you don't think he's benched because someone thinks Skip is better than him. He needs a break.
Besides being 0-10, having some of his worst ABs of the year, throwing a temper tantrum in the dugout, yelling "fuck the media" at the media yesterday he probably needs to sit and watch.

I don't think anyone thinks Skip is a superior player, but he's 22. I'd also argue that at least he's not striking out all the time like he was in SF. 0-10 is a very small sample size; oh, and those ABs mostly came against Hamels and Fernandez. People need to lay off this kid. I'd take a temper tantrum every now and then if we're winning. Also, pretty lame of the Marlins' broadcast to pick that up. I always have agreed with Vinny's golden rule about once a player is back in the dugout, they are due some sort of privacy. He doesn't need a break, and this would be a great opportunity to pick up a couple more games on the Dbags.

I put this on twitter but:

Puig has gone hitless in back to back games only TWICE and has been benched both times after. That's a short ass leash they have on him.

And I get it, I actually don't mind him sitting every once inawhile cause he plays at full throttle all the time and in a long stretch without off days, some rest doesn't hurt. But I disagree and dislike the notion that he needs to be benched after every 0-10 spell just cause he gets himself out at times.

This happened earlier and everyone said he was done for and, he would slump forever, and that he's not going to be good until he controls his emotions, and then he simply had a .900 OPS for most of August. I thin he's proven that yeah, he does at times let his emotions take him out of ABs and yeah, sometimes he can look very bad against righties. But for the most part, he's overcame that already and is very fucking good.

I was watching For the love of the game today on the MLB channel. I'm the catcher telling "chappy" I never have as in I have never seen any MLB team do what this Dodgers team has done....to get where they are on this very day. And despite the 2 losses in a row (to 2 different teams), this is the same team that went 42-8. Yeah, there's a lot of games to be played but they still have that 7.5 game lead, and no recent injuries that they can't overcome. I know that Cap pitches tonight and I'm thinking that he doesn't want to be the guy that's gonna make it 3 in a row. I may be wrong, but "you got to think positive dude".....as I borrow another quote from one of my favorite movies. 90 wins should be enough to do this, and that's around .500 baseball from here on out.
