I think Sirota is the most well-rounded of the Dodgers prospects and De Paula is a pure hitter.

De Paula LF, Pages CF, Sirota RF in 2026 would be a killer outfield - very athletic plus speed both in the field and on base. How possible is it that Tucker could be traded if Dodgers eat some of the contract?

In January 2025, the Reds acquired Gavin Lux from the Dodgers in exchange for Mike Sirota and a Competitive Balance Round A pick in the 2025 Draft. The Dodgers used the pick on OF Charles Davalan.

Sirota (#14) and Davalan (#67) are now both Top 70 prospects in baseball. Lux had 0.3 War in his only season as a Red and is now a Ray.

Just insane stuff from the Dodgers.

Seriously though, I didn't know Davalan made that leap with BA, but I can understand why. Snagging Root (wow, that sounds pretty homo too) with the 40th and Davalan with the 41st picks of the draft seem like absolute steals to me atm.

Reds and Red Sox are going to form a therapy group on dealing with PTSD from Dodger trades.

Some interesting notes regarding OKC's lineup tonight:

• James Tibbs III is at 1B and will play in the field for the first time since May 7.
• Tommy Edman is in LF — a position he has not played since 2020.
• Alek Thomas makes his team debut after being acquired 3 weeks ago.

Nineteen year old Emil Morales, Dodgers #5 prospect, just launched a rocket 441 feet from home plate.

AJ Soldra has been impressive at the plate.

Since he got a scheduled day off yesterday, his home run streak is still alive, and in his first plate appearance today, he launched his seventh home run of the season while extending the streak to three.

OPS is nearing .900 now.

For the third time in his past four games, Josue De Paula collects 3+ knocks for the
@TulsaDrillers.

The @Dodgers' top prospect leads the Double-A Texas League in hits (65) and is top 5 in AVG (.325), OPS (.964) and total bases (108).

 

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

G: Serwinowski - Went six innings. Did walk four, but surrendered only two hits for a game WHIP of 1.00. Only one earned run and struck out six. That's three solid starts in a row, and since May 3 has dropped his ERA from 10.71 to 6.19.

B: Ferris - Three innings, 4 hits, 2 walks, 3 earned runs. Four K's, but Dodgers highest-ranked pitching prospect just cannot put it all together.

U: Ryder Ryan - River's brother was looking like a legit bullpen option for the Dodgers... that is, until he got shelled yesterday. Six hits, three walks, and five scored over 2.1 IP.

Not sure if you meant that in reference to Morales, who's now at Great Lakes. But I'd love to see Ontario. Lindsey and Harlan look like the real deal (to the extent that you can say that about a single-A player). Both have OPS's over 1.000 (Lindsey's avg is still over .400) and they could very well be the Dodgers starting 2B and 3B in 2-3 years. Top 30 specs Vargas, Vidourek, and Tunink plus fringe guys Elkins, Shelton, and Soldra make this a stacked roster and an exciting team to watch. Maybe Leiter or Nieves (if he's back from IL) will be on the mound in the game(s) you go to.

Yes indeed, and Sirota was on base four times (walk, single, single, double) and up to a 1.053 OPS for the season.
