True but in the past I have seen "reassigned" and that player was moved up or down. Just thought it was interesting.

How sexy is this. Granted it's only 8 games, but the thought of Puig being a star is cray

    From the homie Kevin Goldstein

Really liking the reports on Webster. Good to see his FB up at 94 as well. Glad we hung on to him

I think what people are excited about (or at least I am) is that despite having not played organized baseball in a year, he is working walks and not striking out a ton. That is the kind of stuff that translates from one level to the next.

It's crazy how much Puig has overshadowed Pederson and Seager. I guess that's what happens when a dude with guys like Bane takes your system by storm. What Pederson is doing is actually more impressive. As one of the youngest players in the Cal league it's crazy that he's pushed his OPS up 100 points since the all star break and is now nearing a 400 OBP and 500 slugging.

Pederson has been progressively great. He is playing in a hitters league which may inflate his numbers, but still great nonetheless when you consider the fact he's like 20 years old.

What excites me about Puig is his power potential. Scouts have a 70 grade on him, which may eventually rise to 80 after they get to see him now. I would like to see him against tougher competition to properly gauge his skillset/potential, but he sure as hell looks great so far.

    Also, :welcome:

Out of curiosity, what does a grade of 70 or 80 mean?

It's graded on a scale of 20-80. 80 being elite 20 being poor

Giancarlo Stanton/Harper have 80 power grades.
    Billy Hamilton has 80 speed

55 is still considered average/above average

But yeah, it's on a scale, 20/80 being the extremes
