same not sure what album it was that had "wheel in the sky" on it but shortly after that they turned to mierda/pop and once i found out perry was a giants fan i lost all respect for him and him fkag band
My Steve Perry brush with fame moment. I worked as a sports editor at a Central Valley paper in the late 70s. Was working at my desk one afternoon when a young man sat down at the desk next to mine and explained to another reporter how his band was going to tour with the Stones. It was rumored to be the Stones' final tour. This was 1978. Young man was Steve Perry, who was born in Hanford, Ca (where my paper was located) and you're right........fuck him and his Giant fandom.
thank BZ and the off topic ape reference and when Rolie was in the band that was real music no question wasn't Aynsley Dunbar the original drummer too?
+1 I was going to say that too, Rolie gave them that edge and Perry hadn't taken over yet with Cain. Lady Luck is like the Nobody's Fault of Journey tunes and Winds of March is on my "Desert island" list of all time favorites.... so much feel. I probably saw them 5X back in the day. Dunbar was in there too, yeah, then he went to Starship.
One more thing: mad props to you for using the phrase "begging the question" properly. Huge pet peeve of mine when people try to sound clever and use it incorrectly when they really mean, "raises the question."
I still think I'm in another thread...so I'll raise the question (?), has anyone else seen Nolan's "Dunkirk"?
after god created france, people were so jealous of its beauty that he had to figure out something to make things fair... so he created the french
It's permanent open season on the French and fans of Bay Area teams. They're almost one and the same.
Insert (very homo) Giant humor here.......... http://www.sfgate.com/giants/article/Top-Giants-prospect-Tyler-Beede-injures-groin-11340069.php
Aye...so why don't they make a film about the French role at Dunkirk? They are actually in the film, but not in the most heroic way, and tbh, dismissively to boot. I guess they should boycott the film.
