    i remember vinny telling a drysdale story during a time where the dodgers were struggling to score runs…

    drysdale was given permission to leave the team on a game day to tend to some personal business
    when he came back to LA that evening and hopped off the plane he was mobbed by reporters
    they informed him that sandy had thrown a no-hitter
    drysdale looked at them and said “great, did we win?”
    the reporters, figured he was joking and laughed
    drysdale glared back at them with signature sneer and said “no, seriously… did we win?”
    he was 100% serious

    Wasn't implying that the 3 Dog was to blame for the Dodgers' failure in '66. Oriole pitching staff shoved it up the collective asses of the Dodger hitters.

    i wasn’t directing this at you fsu
    i just remember people whining about how davis had blown the game
    dodgers offense was horrible in 66
    the only NL teams that scored fewer runs were the cards and the woeful mets
    couple that with the O’s arms and our boys had little chance

    nobody on
    bottom of the 1st inning
    vladdy challenges a strike call on a 2-1 count
    if overturned it would have been a 3-1 count, instead it was upheld and was a 2-2 count
    seems like an absolutely moronic moment to risk one of your teams two challenges

    What an idiot. Just a selfish move trying to protect his stats instead of saving it for a critical point in the game. But like diablo said, they'll learn at some point.

    cb bucknor is so bad
    he called eugenio suarez out on strikes twice, suarez twice asked for review, and both times the pitches were ruled balls
    we’re so lucky angel hernandez is no longer umpiring… any game with him behind the plate would be 5 hours minimum
