@MrDetroit_313 When the Dodgers come to Comerica Park in late August, if Skubal is pitching he should be serenaded by the entire ball park boo’ing him He chose to leave, but wants to play the sympathetic angle.. see right through that BS. chose to leave delusional much?
https://x.com/DodgerBlue1958/status/2084366761689055283 Wrobleski wasn't scratched. Not sure how or why that rumor started.
@FabianArdaya Will Smith could be back in September from the inflamed disc in his neck. Dalton Rushing is day-to-day with what Dave Roberts called "arm irritation." So, the Dodgers called on a familiar face to add some catching depth in Ben Rortvedt, a source said.
There's only one possible reason that would explain Dodgers not trading Ward today, and that's that there's no interest... but for a low-level prospect, I don't see why most teams wouldn't take a flyer on the 2025 PCL MVP winner. Then again, maybe other GMs don't want to be on the short end of the next Friedman gold-find. At some point you could see that happening. But Ward deserves more of a shot than he got this year, and Dodgers really need to clear space for JDP and/or Sirota to get some games in AAA. One of those two should be LA's starting left-fielder in '27.
Will Smith's neck injury is crazy I get the feeling news in the offseason is going to come out that it's going to be a chronic issue that plagues the rest of his life
@stephenasmith The Dodgers didn’t just land Tarik Skubal… they may have broken baseball. They just gave MLB owners exactly what they wanted… and fans are going to pay the price. Here’s why. Watch today at 3 PM ET on my YouTube Sports channel. dude is such an idiot troll
i mean, obviously they didn't break baseball but i agree w giving the owners what they want. the owners intend to lock out the players period. Dodgers just get to be the boogeyman. and the fans are going to lose out on games most likely. any other team could have easily met or surpassed what LA offered. sounds like collusion to me.
i don’t agree dodgers spent nothing, fave up no major leaguers and only one top prospect any other team could have done the same, they just chose not to … but that may play into the collusion you suggested
I think teams are genuinely scared to deal with Dodgers on high-A and below players Once the Dodgers mention a name, they probably scramble to try to figure out why that name was mentioned
not sure my intention came through. the Dodgers did everything exactly the way a top organization looking to be the best they can be should do. just saying it was such a forgone conclusion and together w the timing is exactly what the rest of the owners wanted so they can conveniently point the finger at the evil empire. that narrative is what they intend to repeat ad nauseam while they sit on their wallets.
