its alarming. just a guess but w all the attention at the AS game and everyone watching at the same time someone picked up on him tipping his pitches. he didn't go from where he was to where he is unless something like that happened imo.
This is the result of pitchers being babied during the development in the minors. He's apparently hit a wall at about 110 innings. Pitchers aren't build up to pitch innings. It's not just the Dodgers. It's how it's done in the game today.
According to a sports pod I heard this weekend, Mark Prior is considered the best in MLB at spotting tics in a pitcher. The claim is that he tells Dodger hitters who else is tipping pitches. It would be ironic - if that's true - that Wrobo (and perhaps a few other Dodger pitchers) has suffered under Prior's myopia if he missed this in his own staff.

Doubtful. The Dodgers are a cash cow for Guggenheim. Walter owns 27% but I guarantee his piece would be bought out swiftly if he opted to sell. GUGG bought the team for 2 billion in 2012. If sold now ... anything less than $10 billion would be a steal. I imagine it'd be more like 15bil. These money-crushers are unreal. I cannot get my head around the greed & pomposity that it must take for guys like Walter, Kasten, Patton, Boehly, etc to even relate to normal humans. And I'm a rampant capitalist & even I think those guys are fucked up.
