    pay for spectrum, prime, netflix, hulu, ok fucking appletv and think you've got it covered noooooo peacock bought some games and although they're aligned w nbc you gotta pay again. got us coming and going. old enough to remember when it was all free. no signs of letting up either. time to invest in dsptv and buy some random games from whoever is selling,

    always liked the speed of mlb playoffs before but i don't get all these 3 game series crammed into 3 days. seems like the shortest series sb 5 games and any series after that sb 7. if the name of the game is revenue this seems to leave a lot on the table.

    Not sure, just speculation, but maybe they don't want the bye teams sitting too long. At some point it goes from being a perk to a disadvantage.

    If all 4 of these WC series go minimum, any "advantages" to the 1 & 2 seeds is 90% negated.

    The #1 pitchers on the WC teams can still pitch in game 2, maybe even game 1. Homefield hardly means much today - the Rays & Milw had the best home records this season, check the data & you get 69% HFA teams winning the whole thing. Divisional series? 49% ... League champion series? 58%

    So, LA & Milw damn near have to win their home games ...

    And btw ... who had the best road records this year? LA, Milw, NYY, & BoSox.

    Lotsa luck betting on this quagmire.

    the wc games should be double/triple headers on one day, beginning the day after the season ends
    then a one day rest and onto the LDS
    too tough? play better
    would really makes teams fight for those top two seeds (byes)

    which @TAFNAC has to love. seriously Musgrove looked decent last night and if those bats get hot anything goes imo. SD is good enough to pull off a major run as much as i hate to say it. at least they'd have to go through the Cubs and Brewers to which i say GO CUBS!

    there’s always one hot team that gets in via the wild card
    the padres are playing loose and really seem to have embraced the underdog role
    could easily see them beating milwaukee
    after that, who knows?
    right now they’re the one team no one wants to play
