    • Tanner Scott will not be available for the NLCS, but Dave Roberts said that if the Dodgers got to the World Series then Scott would be available.

    I'm still on the fence as to whom I want to win today. Here are the Dodger starters' splits against both teams this year (ERA and WHIP):

    Yamamoto
    vs Cubs - 0.82 / 0.64 (11 IP)
    vs Brewers - 40.50 / 9.00 (0.2 IP)

    Snell
    vs Cubs - N/A
    vs Brewers - N/A

    Ohtani
    vs Cubs - N/A
    vs Brewers - N/A

    Glasnow
    vs Cubs - 3.00 / 0.67 ( 6 IP)
    vs Brewers - 0.82 / 0.91 (11 IP)

    Obviously a small sample size, and Yoshi's blowup where he didn't get out of the first is likely an anomaly, so it doesn't really tell us much. Meanwhile, Quintana went 1-0, 3.75 / 0.83 in 12 IP vs LAD, and Peralta was 2-0, 3.27 / 1.27 in 11 IP. Fireballer Misiorowski won his one start, striking out 12 in 6 IP and at 1.50 / 0.83. Milwaukee's pitching clearly dominated Dodger hitters.

    Switching over to Cubs starters vs Dodgers, Boyd was at 1-1, 4.50 / 1.50 (12 IP). Imanaga had two starts but no decisions. He was at 4.66 / 1.34 in 9.2 innings. Nobody else threw more than nine innings against LAD.

    Based on this somewhat limited analysis, I'd say the Dodger hitters would much rather see Cubs on the mound than Brewers next week. I'm sure if I did an opposing hitters analysis, the Cubs would prove more formidable. But given that the Dodger pitchers are demonstrating that good hitters can be negated with good pitching, and with HFA as icing on the cake, I guess I'm now leaning towards wanting Chicago to win today.

    Milwaukee is going with a bullpen game. Worked for them earlier in the series - hopefully they run out of steam this evening.

    yeah i'm using Brave and tbh i'd like to see it but not changing cause i don't get any of the nonsense ads i used to on most sites

    everything works on my laptop
    funny that chrome works on an android but not an iphone
    there’s only one solution… DSP needs to buy everyone laptops
