you are a little older and have more class unlike the new generation of boomers coined zoomers and doomers your generation is more like mine which was a generation x you ate the hard bread and you kept quiet about it unlike your parents generation and unlike the boomer generation that were born shortly after you thats why you dont fight like a boomer fights
I always respect your opinion Rube...but my immediate reaction to the fighting aspect is that my parents generation fought pretty damn well in WWII. And I know a whole bunch of Boomers that gave that 13 months ( or more) in Viet Nam, and did what they had to, no matter what the outcome or popular thought were about that particular conflict. But , I may not 100% grasp what you mean by " fight"...you could be referring to just interaction between disagreeing factions. Actually, I miss the parameters of " Boomer" by 12 days, so I guess I'm on the cusp.
i think the lines got crossed here and my reply was moved elsewhere but it was not about fighting in war and honestly if you really want to go there it IS but you have to deeper into the grain as in the people who sent your parents to war were not of your parents generation your parents generation went to war and came back quiet about it the next generation went to war and wont stop telling you about it you were born in the middle like i was born in the middle but a cycle later i enlisted to go to war out of duty and compulsion to conformity not because of my nature to fight you need fighters, you need lovers, you need healers, and you need leaders ... all are valid we all have different natures and we are all of different class you a college guy, but one who went to the local school so he could be close to his sweetheart who is still at the HS DSP is the high school im perpetually in 7th grade, but hanging out at the HS talking with the older girls about art, music, history, and victorianism
Great photo. The last row, last dog on the right is a Saluki. Used to have 3 of them. Nice to see one again...like lightening they run. A nice photo to look at while trying to pretend we gonna come back in this drudge of a game... Zen.
yeah that's why i posted it for sure every last one of them has their "i'm a good dog" faces on the black ones in the middle and just below almost get lost in the crowd
