i love it. DLR is in full melt down, freak out, whatever. i've seen a few of these and can't figure out if he's 100% lit or 100% sober. i think he's sober and fucking w everyone.

3 years ago i was in deep. now i'm barely imbibing at all. thing is the younger people definitely have cut back. nearly cut it out. my older brother/dad still loves his gin but its just not a lot of fun talking about the same shit over and over. i'm up for having some drinks but just don't know anyone feeling the same these days. not about to go make new drinking friends at the local bars and fuck drinking alone. not missing it tbh. feel better and hangovers are the worst.
i just have my kids friends but they don't mess w any of that afaik. at the recent wedding apparently there was some coke at some point. i saw some of that fiendish slashing about from a couple of over stimulated guests but they all have these high pressure careers making money and shooting for the stars. i think my generation told enough horror stories and set enough bad examples but who knows for sure? can't get your dreams w the monkey and all that. plenty of young stars dying from stuff and suicides. but yeah coke and heroin are still around. probably always will be.
