I dgaf if Greenland is Denmark's or a US protectorate, territory, or state. That last option is unlikely anyway ... but that's not the point.

This week, PostNord canceled home mail delivery. Who the eff is PostNord? Welp ... for 400+ years, the heirs of Hrothgar have been delivering letters from and to Danes in Copenhagen and all of Denmark... yet they cited a 90% decline in personal letter delivery since 2000.

And this nation can afford to sit on a parcel of resource-rich land that aids their economy measurably. They crow about the Nordic Model - free market + welfare state - and yet, they are smaller in populayion than Massachusetts while being the same approx land mass.

So when a hippie Maoist twat tells me how great Europeans and why can't we have their system here.... GTFOOH. Small scale, maybe. But we ain't small, and nobody cares about Denmark unless they love the geography, the hot-girls, and abelskivers ....

Come to think of it ....I'm moving to Denmark.

It's ball-freezing cold 80% of the year. But it'd be the equivalent of a second Alaska with far, far larger (and more easily mined) deposits of REEs & especially uranium than the Land of the Midnight Sun.

If we weren't so MSM-deceived & if the repubs weren't so collusive with dems to improve our energy production, we'd have nuclear plants everywhere and plenty of reusable, closed-loop cooling systems that burn 80% their own waste for fuel.

But yeah.... let's continue petroleum dependence because that's working out f**king perfectly.

My cousin was a submariner from 1976-1984 on Sturgeon-class subs. Retired now, he's a consultant for NextEra. He says that anyone who evaluates nuclear anything today by the standards of nuclear 50 years ago is "too stupid to breath" ... it's the perception of an ignoramus nation of sheeple who would be equally stupid to judge that cars should be eliminated because a Stanley Steamer exploded in 1911.

Nothing is perfect in energy but nuclear is the only long-term option and it doesn't make any difference to a thinking person if you're blue or red state.
