David Vasseh was just on with Petros & Money. He got to shake Trump's hand and take a photo. Said the players were giddy all day long and had an amazing time. Clayton came too.
Once Trump started summarizing the season, it was really a very entertaining speech with a lot of laughs.
He went off script several times about moments he remembered - specifically Will Smith getting his foot back on the plate and Miguel Rojas's incredible throw on the same play.
Feel good stuff.
Then again, I'm a sucker for things like this, opening day, parades, etc. (Homo?)
Maybe when AOC is president, Betts can come back and have a good time too.
