I read an interesting anecdote about Chico...he was called that because he was an incurable flirt, and it was really Chick-o, because he loved the chicks. Not Chico, like little Charlie. Once, behind a curtain backstage, his wife caught him kissing a girl passionately, and confronted him and asked him, " why were you kissing that girl"? He said, " I wasn't kissing her, I was whispering in her mouth".
Yeah, that's why I described it as the fallacy of all statists. It's just that communists/socialists are the most statist. Here's my thing about Bernie and Jill Stien: I almost always agree with what they think are problems. But I think they are so misguided that their solutions are almost always wrong. Their answer to everything is to use the government's monopoly on force to steal money from some people and give it to others (higher taxes for "free" education) or to overuse the government's regulatory power to achieve one thing or another (patriarchal corporations must be stopped*). If that isn't tyranny, I don't know what is. Most people don't see it that way, because free education and clean air/water sounds nice and not tyrannical. *the GP party platform complains about the evils of capitalism, corporations and the patriarchy. I didn't even make that up. I never said that--that's somebody elses argument.
