I just discovered this guy, Philip Sayce. Bluesy AF!

 

looks like he just played 3 nights at the baked potato in Studio city last May
Canadian guitarist currently touring Europe making a name for himself
guy is a whole nother level of player to what i used to get on my blues night but there sure are a lot of talented blues players out there
on a given night i'd get hypnotized and wonder who this band was and how long they'd been playing
and someone would say they just met tonight
i'd have nights the place was full and it was usually all dudes and man was it a party but by the end of the night i'd ask my partner Jacob if we'd made money...nah
sometimes the players would actually get some scratch but that was it
remember talking to Ann the raven from the local Sunday blues show on kcsn and she said "that's why they call it the blues baby"
i'd definitely go see him live but i know who'd be in the crowd w me lol

 

Another one of the long list of great lead players for John Mayall.

 

If he plays 3 nights next time there's a 67% chance you'll be safe. LOL

 

band opened for the Cure at riot fest in Chicago a few days back called the Dresden dolls
apparently they rock!
fantastic version of Black Sabbath w a piano and a drummer

 

kind of hard to put into words when you see guys nailing Kath and Carlton effortlessly
and that kid singing Bailey was spine tingling cause i only thought one man in the universe sang like that
a bunch of Russiana and Eastern block musicians incredible
playing in Oxnard Nov 18th...performing arts center

 

Fucking badass drummer! Good shit for sure but, there can be only one...
