has anyone told him to take a pitch? I think they're telling him to be aggressive and since he's dumb he thinks that means swing at the 1st pitch EVERY TIME
Bunting is a bad idea most of the time because playing for one run is dumb. That situation is the textbook example of when you play for 1 run though, I supported that bunt, and it worked. Now Kenley has to hold up his end.
Nahh, the only bunt I'll support is with the pitcher up or a terrible player batting with 1st and 2nd. I understand one run could win us the game but I just hate giving up outs late in the game. It's like pitching to the score lol
Bottom of the 8th tied game is the time. You are playing for one run and the lead and out of dodge in the top of the ninth.
It's not like pitching to score lol it's totally different. Hitting to score is sensical bottom 8 in a tie game with the bottom of the order up.
