I don't think he's a douche and I don't hate him for any other reason than he was a successful Giant. Well so was Jeff Kent and we all were happy with him.
Other then the Blake making fun of him and Wilson getting ticked off about it, what has he done to us? He's never thrown at us, he's never started shit. He's not as annoying on the field as that asshat Romo.
He's just a clown and likes to be the center of attention, make people laugh...whatever. He might help keep this team loose and rolling.

You cannot discredit what he did in the post season....he's the Anti-Broxton. Nails

Yeah, ironic thing is that Romo was a HUGE Dodger fan growing up.

whoa whoa whoa. I think Kenley is our guy from here on out. If Wilson ends up our closer, that means Kenley either got hurt or fell apart, neither of which I want to see.

Nah. There's no shame in pitching set up if it breaks that way. It's all good. But, yeah, the Beard would have to rock to win the spot.

I would like to go on the record as saying I hated Jeff Kent as a giant. I hated Jeff Kent as a Dodger. I hate his stupid car dealership, and I hate moustaches to this day because of Jeff Kent. The only good thing he ever did was hate Barry Bonds... but it turned out he just hates everyone. Hate.

He was a dick...but one of the best hitting second basemen of all time. He was arguably the best the Dodgers ever had some people say...but I'm sticking with Lopes as the greatest and then Sax...because they were my childhood idols.

Kent was also at the end of his career by the time we got him. I hated that, for sure.

Kent is my second most favorite Dodger of all time. Loved him

  12. I felt the same way 100%, not to mention he went after Vin saying "vin talks to0 much" and saying "vin isnt in the clubhouse he doesnt know me" However I will say I did like when he pointed to the Giants dugout after he hit that go ahead HR in SF. It was no Mike Marshall moment but it was still good.

Just because a guy stands on the dirt between 1B and 2B, doesn't make him a 2B.

The greatest Dodgers 2B ever was Jackie Robinson. Because he didn't play 2B in the movie, I guess people forget.

I believe Wilson was signed to a guaranteed major league contract with a two week rehab and than o the majors.

    oh snap
now the h8ers are really going to be pissed...

By Tim Dierkes [July 30, 2013 at 1:26pm CST]

The Dodgers signed free agent reliever Brian Wilson, tweets Yahoo's Tim Brown. It's a guaranteed big league deal, tweets ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, and Jim Bowden of ESPN and MLB Network Radio says it's worth $1MM plus performance bonuses. The Beard had a long road to recovery from April 2012 Tommy John surgery. He spent his entire career in the Giants organization, racking up 171 saves in the process. The Giants non-tendered him after last season, and the fully-recovered Wilson auditioned for many teams Thursday. Wilson had three offers, notes Brown. The 31-year-old reliever is represented by MVP Sports Group.

The Dodgers' bullpen struggled at the outset of the season, partially due to the decision to anoint Brandon League the closer. Kenley Jansen officially usurped that role in mid-June. The Dodgers have also gotten good work from lefties J.P. Howell and Paco Rodriguez.

The tentative plan for Wilson is to begin at the Dodgers' complex in Arizona, then go to Rancho Cucamonga as part of a rehab assignment, and then report to the Dodgers in two weeks, tweets Brown. In theory, the move could take the Dodgers out of the running for other, similar relievers available for trade.

I guess for $1 million we can always kick him to the curb and just eat the salary. As long as he doesn't cost us any games IDGAF.
