It's just the simplest explanation. He's less than 50% in such situations. I'm more worried about LeBron's defense. They may have to trade for a dynamic defender like Davis to make up for LeBron's sketchy defense

Just watched that last loss.. no way we can let Kuzma be trade bait. No way. Height, length, springs, soft touch.. and that suhweeeeeeet baby hook shot.. No way. this kids is a keeper. At LEAST as much talent as Ingram, who is talented but lacks Kuzma's shoulders
Kuzma is kinda soft physically though. No way he can do anything at C when he cant hold nothing down at PF and is not quick enough for SF. He has to become Robert Horry/Rick Fox type to be worth it and he is far form that physically/defensively.
BI is as good or better than Kuz on offense and already one of the best defenders in the NBA. He can guard 1-4 shut down He can guard guys like Chris Paul, James Harden, LeMarcus Aldridge and everyone in between. Kuz can't guard anyone.
He was missing rotations all night and it's not going to get a ton better on his end given his mileage. If I'm a free agent star, I'm thinking twice about teaming up with LeBron because of his defense..can't be easy to watch him miss rotation after rotation, then you lose the game and nobody's pointing his way. LAL may have to be aggressive and just trade for a young star
And of course Ingram can play those spots offensively as well. His level of special is just greater than Kuz's. Kuz has to be offered up in a trade before Ingram..his fight is with Zo. Nothing he can do with Ingram. But Zo is special as well and I have to believe Zo is coveted over Kuz too
