if they hadn't forked 72 large to scott then Dryer would close and Casperius would be setting up

    me too
early on i was happy i made the decision to hole up and watch it cause it didn't look good a all
still fine w it but that would have been a great game to be at
i mean he gave it everything he had and its just barely enough so the timing appears to address that reality
also thought his exit was perfect and although i'm sure it had been decided up front was elated they didn't do the microphone thing and stop the game
all class from start to finish...except the eating booger stuff!
let's get the man a chance for another ring
    long live CK!

I was 15 when Kershaw debut and I remember exactly where I was when I watched it. He is the last remaining player of my childhood, and Dodger baseball will never be the same!

It blows my mind that Clayton was there for Mannywood, the Kemp/Ethier/Martin/Billingsley era, the Matt Stairs HR, the Matt Holliday error, the Loney HR at Wrigley, the McCourt divorce, the crazy 2013 team that went 52-8 with Puig, the Uribe HR, the Seager/Bellinger/Pederson/J. Turner era, the cheating Astros World Series, the Freeman HR, and on and on and on. There will never be another Dodger to do that.

This isnt even mentioning his accomplishments. I am just blown away by the span of his career and how it covered so many distinct eras of Dodger baseball and my own life as I've grown up.

    Gonna miss him so much

almost like the life span of DSP itself
i remember arguing on PSD that CK was the ace of the staff in his first year so fucking silly but he was and always will be
going to be interesting to see what he does with the rest of his life
miss those days here and in the world in general
such a different time and feeling for all of us
thanks for giving it the timeline perspective TB15
