    Just like Tim Lincecum.

That mother fucker was lights out but his motion definitely contributed to him burning out early

If - Pollock can get through and be as productive as he's ever been again....
A career .172 AVG/.243 OBP/.279 SLG line through 7 postseason series is what awaits him in the fall
Very little optimism here if any at all. Guy's nuts clearly shrink with the chips down.

They would have to wrap Pollock in styrofoam and bubble wrap, and keep him away from ladders, black cats, cracks in the sidewalk, rest him on Friday 13ths.....and then it still would be a lost cause.

Zero optimism. And they don't need Pollock to win a WS so not even about to trick myself into thinking he's gonna do some noteworthy shit when it really matters. Gavin Lux has as many career postseason HRs as AJ Pollock Lol

What I will do though is just hope Lux can take 2B and lock it down so that Taylor can move to LF and lock it down. Fuck Pollock. Very similar to my feelings on Jansen. Hoping other starters can lock their slots down in the rotation so that one of them can eventually/potentially slot in at the closer role. Fuck Jansen too

I share your lack of optimism that AJ can stay healthy. I don't share the sentiment that he can't contribute significantly IF he can stay healthy, even in the playoffs. Let's just say he's overdue for a big postseason. And I'm not even a big Pollock fan, but I am impressed with last year's truncated-season numbers.

Im not sure they actually start in AAA. I think they are stashed in the bullie because no one is sure Kerhsaw or Price will go more than 4-5 innings. Having May or Gonsolin come in behind them saves the bullie if they can go 2-3 innings. IMO the Rotation is Behuler (R)/Kerhsaw (L)/Bauer (R)/Price (L)/Urias (L).

    .....Mota
Rube has been an enigma to us all, even as far back as the other 3 letter joint that shall not be named. I am actually surprised that Jonathan Vilar was not worked into that last soliloquy.

So I clicked on one of those yahoo click bait links, this one happened to be the rankings of all MLB starting rotations. It is bananas to think of the pitchers the Dodgers let go. Ryu is the ace of Blue Jays. Maeda is the ace of the Twins, Frankie Montas is the ace of the A's, Greinke is the ace of the Assholes, and Darvish is the ace of the Pads......HOLY SHIT!!!

Kershaw was 7 innings or more 4 times last year (including postseason), which is probably more than the rest of the roster combined.

Im not sure you are going to be able to convince many people that 4 games of 7+ innings in a shortened season where he made 15 total starts is enough to say he has his longevity back. Look at the past years. 2019 - 11 out of 29. 2018 - 9 out of 26. That is roughly 1/3 of the time he is going 7+ innings, so they need the bullie 2/3 of the time when he pitches. Trust me I pray driveline helped this off season again and he can get back to 2018 form when he posted 16 out of 27 games with a 7+ inning effort, but I don't think that is a reality at this stage in his career.

And each of them you could argue would be our #4 entering this season. No reason for this team to not repeat.

Brandon Morrow is not going to be playing this spring from the looks of it. The team is apparently taking a very slow approach with him and are going to gradually build up his arm strength to begin the season. Makes sense as the bullpen is absolutely overloaded right now and there is no need to rush a dude that they signed to an MiLB deal. All that matters is him being healthy the last QUARTER of the season.

David Price said when news of #Dodgers interest in Trevor Bauer was percolating he reached out to Andrew Friedman and told him "If it happens, I'm willing to do whatever you guys need me to do" as far as role on pitching staff.

So we can expect Price to bounce between rotation and bullpen, cycling through with Tony and May as necessary. Pretty cool
