Urias going 5 shutout innings with 8 K's was so damn impressive. And Venable probably won't be here past Monday so it was cool to see him do something productive with his lead off double Bullpen is in a shitty spot right now though. They've thrown a lot of innings this week and with Bolsinger, probably need to go at least 3-4
Already love the development I've seen from Urias In his first two games you can tell he was overly reliant on his FB Since then he's mixed in more offspeed and his pitchability has gotten better He's also shown more confidence in his secondary pitches If you just watch his strikeouts from his first two games, the strikeout pitch was mostly a FB Now just watch the last two games (especially the last game)--he's getting hitters out with all types of stuff--high fb, curveball, sliders etc And whats encouraging is on a 3-2 count he threw a curveball to Perez that just had him stuck Once he refines his pitches/command, watch out. And he's only 19 rn. Insane
