Honestly, the fact they even had that contingency in place in case the Dodgers jumped in just shows how fucking lame they are.
Hey man i had to turn over all donations to charity in light of the allegations of animal cruelty brought forth by the New Zealand PETA chapter .
Congrats to all Dodger fans... Doesn't matter really, who we face. We will adapt and do whatever is neccessary and play. No bullshit this time. With all the Dave thrashing, me included, last night was an illustration of a perfect game plan against the mighty Greinke. A little more timely hitting, and it really wouldn't have been close. For me, trying to pick out the key moments in the series, Turner' s first inning blast in the first game set the tone for the rest of it, and put the scary DBacks on full notice we came to fucking play hard ball. Then, the ability to score often in the first two quite often covered up what was a kinda shaky Clayton start, and a Hill first inning wobble. Yu was overall excellent, and one of the best moves Dave made was yanking him after he was clearly shaken. Well done. The bp was nothing short of wonderful, Kenley as always, Cingrani the golden guinea, throws the biggest DP ball of the season... but you gotta love the samurai Maeda, looking like a snake killer extraordinaire. That's 3. 8 more.
Eck has always been cool totally gave Kirk all the credit for that 88 HR and smiled about it the man is having a great life lot to be learned from people like him
One thing I've learned in my 62 years about life, marriage, being a Dodger fan. If you're going to be there for the good, you got to be there for the bad. Last night was the good.
I don't know what Dave was thinking. Seems like he was barely even paying attention at 1st, looking down at his book
Last night winning was so great it was so awesome to watch the boys come through especially against the Diamondbacks
We have a sweet young core with a good mixture of veterans what I like about this team is there very unselfish. Did you see Joc last night how he was cheering for his teammates after that Barnes home run
Made a bet with a friend back in September about who would win if the Dodgers and Dbacks faced off in the DS. Loser had to wear the other team's shirt. Guess who is wearing a Puig shirt today.
In some twisted way is anybody else hoping the game gets rained out tonight? Forcing them to have to play on Wednesday & Thursday (if necessary), potentially burning 2 starter options (likely more if/when they use them in the bullpen) for Games 1 & 2.
I hope for anything that will help us in the NLCS. I hope there are multiple rain delays that make the games last 5 hours long and go 20 innings.
